Leading Semiconductor IPOs
One of the biggest milestones of the year was our IPO in March 2024. To celebrate our listing on Nasdaq, our co-founders rang the opening bell to usher in the future of semiconductor-based connectivity solutions purpose-built to unleash the full potential of AI and cloud infrastructure. While the IPO was a significant step showcasing how far we’ve come since our founding in October 2017, we are just getting started with more to come!

This year, we raised the bar for connectivity solutions for AI and cloud infrastructure with groundbreaking, industry-first product launches and technology demonstrations.
- Scorpio Smart Fabric Switches – optimized for AI dataflows, Scorpio delivers maximum system utilization and uptime for scale-out PCIe® 6 connectivity and scale-up GPU clustering in AI servers.
- Aries 6 Smart DSP Retimer – the first offering in our PCIe 6.x portfolio, Aries 6 set the stage for a smart PCIe 6.x connectivity backbone that is robust, scalable, and customizable.
- Aries PCIe/CXL Smart Cable Modules – enabling multi-rack GPU clustering for AI with an industry-first 7 meter reach over active electrical cables.
- PCIe over Optics – delivering the industry’s first demonstration of end-to-end PCIe optical connectivity to provide unprecedented reach across the data center for larger, disaggregated GPU clusters.
Demonstrating Thought Leadership and Industry-First Solutions at OCP Global Summit
Astera Labs was everywhere at OCP Global Summit with nine speaking slots and our solutions demonstrated in partner booths across the show floor. Our own booth was jam packed where we showcased the industry’s first end-to-end PCIe 6 demo featuring the Scorpio P-Series Fabric Switch as well as our full portfolio of purpose-built solutions for AI and cloud infrastructure. During 2024, Astera Labs also participated in NVIDIA GTC, FMS, Supercomputing 24, ChipEx, and more!
Expanding Global Footprint
Astera Labs added to its global footprint to support our growth and scale operations.
- Haifa, Israel – new R&D Center opened in January
- Taipei, Taiwan – new Cloud-Scale Interop Lab opened in May
- Bengaluru India – new R&D Center opened in September
These new sites will enable Astera Labs to tap into each region’s rich engineering talent, establish a robust pipeline of interconnect technologies that enable AI architectures, and extend our leadership in interoperability testing.
Expanding Ecosystem Leadership
Astera Labs is proud to collaborate with hyperscalers and AI platform providers to advance open, scale-up AI connectivity. As a Promoter member of the newly incorporated UALink™ Consortium, we will contribute to delivering the UALink specifications and creating an optimized scale-up ecosystem.
