Shivoo is Managing Director and India Site head of Astera Labs and is responsible for the design and development of all ASIC products and operations functions. Prior to joining Astera Labs, Shivoo worked in various engineering leadership roles at Synopsys, MediaTek and Intel. Shivoo holds a PhD from Bangalore University, Master’s from Oregon Graduate Institute and is an alumnus of IIM, Bangalore and ISB, Hyderabad. Shivoo also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation & Design thinking, a collaborative program by MIT Sloan, Columbia Business School, and Tuck University.
Outside work Shivoo enjoys teaching and runs a Non-Profit NGO, Belakoo, with a vision to enable quality K-12 education for children from underprivileged special needs communities across rural and urban India.
Shivoo, as an author has published four books titled “System on Chip (SoC) Architecture” and “SoC Physical Design”, both by Springer Publications
